nubia, as a former partner brand of the Chinese manufacturer ZTE, but now a separate brand, is preparing its next smart watch with the label Nubia watch. In addition, this watch has to come even with an attractive flexible OLED display.
Nubia Watch
Upcoming watch with marking Nubia watch in addition to the flexible OLED panel, they will also offer a high-quality metal body processed from 316L stainless steel. Nubia is no newcomer. The brand produces a popular series of gaming smartphones called Red Magic.
Over the past year, we have witnessed the revolutionary and first commercially available wearable phone in the world. It came with the name Nubia Alpha and offered the aforementioned flexible display. This year, the company is preparing another representative of wearable electronics with a simple name Nubia Watch.
We know the first information
Just a product with a label Nubia watch was recently published on the website of the Chinese e-shop JD (Jingdong) with a launch date of July 28, 2020. Now the manufacturer itself has published the first poster on the Chinese social network Weibo. He confirmed that the new watch will be launched together with a smartphone RedMagic 5S.
The image provided by the manufacturer so far only offers us a look at the design of the Nubia Watch. However, it confirms the presence of a flexible OLED panel, but also a metal body and the presence of 316L stainless steel. The watch offers a crown on the right for control and even a small scale for occasional measurement.
What will the software be like?
We do not yet know the software of the upcoming smart watch. However, if we mention the Nubia Alpha model, it was powered by its own operating system, which was based on the Android system. It is therefore possible that the novelty will come up with the same or a similar custom solution.
The official performance will take place in a few days and we believe that by then we will learn even more leaks of information and some technical specifications. We also expect the retail price of the watch to be lower than last year's Alpha model.
