During a conference from a few days ago, the DJI producer introduced the world to the long-awaited successor to the popular Mavic Mini named DJI mini 2. We've seen major improvements.
The advantage of both of these drones lies mainly in their weight. They both weigh only 249 grams, thanks to which they avoid the necessary certification. However, from the new year, new directives will come into force throughout the EU, the content of which is not yet completely clear.

4K video, higher speed, OsuSync
The major improvement is undoubtedly support 4K videos. The predecessor was able to offer a maximum resolution of 2,7K, which was enough, but thanks to 4K you will capture much more detail. The frame rate at the highest resolution is 24, 25 or 30.
The sensor, which is classically mounted on a 3-axis gimbale, has a standard size 1 / 2,3 " and resolution 12 MPx. A XNUMXx zoom and a double zoom without loss of quality have also been added. Shooting in format JPG whether RAW of course it is not missing.
As we mentioned, the whole system of wireless video and signal transmission has undergone a really big improvement. He got the name OcuSync 2.0 and compared to the original Mavica Mini, the range has increased from 4 km to beautiful 10 km.
Another positive change is undoubtedly the increased endurance and maximum speed. The Mavic Mini managed to fly on a single charge for 30 minutes, while the Mini 2 boasts endurance up to 31 minutes. This is not a big difference, but given that the weight is the same, this is a welcome improvement.
The speed has increased from the original 46 km / h to a respectable almost 60 km/h. There are several useful improvements and it is great to see that DJI is trying to satisfy its fans and transform their wishes into reality.
The price is excellent
It is probably no secret that as the properties of the drone have improved, the price has also increased. The variant with basic accessories starts with a price 459 €, while you pay for the extended Fly More Combo 599 €.
