We ordered both the 6 Ah and 9 Ah versions
We ordered two pieces from AliExpress 6 Ah and 9 Ah versions. Makita does not even offer a 9 Ah version, so it is a rather exclusive product. It goes without saying that these cheap Chinese flashlights won't have the same quality cells as the Japanese ones, but they held up very well in our test.
For comparison, the original Makita 6 Ah battery costs around 77 € per piece (source: Heureka.sk). You can only get a 6 Ah Chinese 18 V battery from AliExpress for less than €34! That's more than half the price!
We tested them on mowing
We did a quick test on a Makita electric lawnmower. We mowed the grass on a plot of land with an area of approx 700 m2 and the 9 Ah version lasted much longer than the Makita. Of course, only thanks to the fact that it has a 3 Ah larger capacity, but this proves that Chinese flashlights are very close to what the seller states.
More precisely, we managed to mow with a Chinese 18 V battery (9 Ah) the entire area for one charge. With Makita, we had to replace the batteries and let them charge about halfway through.
There is also a charge indicator
We really like the fact that all batteries are included charge indicator and by holding down the button you will see how much your battery is charged. There are 3 green lights for indication.
Structurally, the batteries look very good and of high quality, we did not find any visual defects on them. They have the exact same connector type as Makita batteries and can be used with a wide range of tools and other electrical equipment.
Charging also worked without problems. We used the original Makita charger.
