The Chinese company Realme has officially introduced a new model Realm GT Neo. It is a light version of the Realme GT model, but it still offers great performance, a top AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz for a very interesting price of only € 233.
The first smartphone with a Dimensity 1200 chip
Unlike its bigger brother, the Realme GT Neo got a processor from Mediatek. This is the first smartphone to be equipped with a Dimensity 1200 chip. Although Mediatek is not as popular as Qualcomm in our region, it is not an inferior processor.
Mediatek Dimensity 1200 je 8-core processor made by 6 nm technology. Its maximum frequency can climb to the level 3 GHz and overall performance has increased by up to 22% compared to the older generation.
The processor is seconded by RAM with a maximum capacity of 12 GB and fast UFS 3.1 storage up to 256 GB. Efficient cooling is provided by a liquid 3D system that can reduce core temperatures by up to 15 ° C.
Beautiful AMOLED display
The smartphone got beautiful Super AMOLED display from Samsung with a diagonal 6.43". This is a top display with a refresh rate 120 Hz, a resolution of 2400 x 1080 px (Full HD +) and a sampling frequency for touch up to 360 Hz.
The Realme GT Neo measures 158.5 x 73.3 x 8.4 mm and has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.7%. There is also a fast fingerprint reader on the display and a shot at the front camera in the upper left corner.
Cameras and connectivity
The back contains a module of three cameras. The main Sony IMX682 sensor provides resolution 64 MPx, has an ultra-wide sensor 8 MPx and a viewing angle of 119 °. The last one is 2 MPx macro sensor. For selfie photos and video calls it is on the front 16 MPx camera.
The smartphone supports 5G networks, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and GNSS systems GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, GALILEO, QZSS. There are also stereo speakers, a USB-C port and even a 3.5 mm jack. However, we will not find support for MicroSD cards here, similar to the Realme GT model.
The battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh and supports fast, up to 50 W charging. It should be in the base of the package 65 W charger. As for the operating system, there is Android 11 with the Realme UI 2.0 extension.
Excellent price
The basic Realme GT Neo model with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM will be sold on the domestic market for 1799 Chinese yuan, which is approximately 233 €. A higher version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM will cost 1999 Chinese Yuan (260 €) and the highest model with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM costs 2399 yuan (310 €).
The smartphone will go on sale on the domestic market on April 8. No information is currently available on availability for our market.
