Gaming chair marked Nick NK01 in our shop Banggood sent for testing as soon as it went on sale. We were looking forward to it because for a long time no gaming chair from our Chinese partners was available after all BlitzWolf and Douxlife chairs were basically withdrawn from sale, that is except for the model Douxlife GC-RC03 with massage that often fell out.
We received the black color, which came in a rather large box weighing 18 kg (the chair itself weighs 16 kg). Assembling it was not complicated at all and the package includes a simple instruction together with the necessary screws and a key for assembly. It took us about 30 minutes to assemble, even with a break.
Very comfortable materials
We also positively evaluate the material used for the surface of the seats and cushions, because it is a very soft and comfortable leatherette. Of course, with this material comes a disadvantage in warm weather, namely sweating. Otherwise, Nick NK01 will be a pleasant companion for long gaming sessions.
As with other similar Chinese chairs, the footrest is unstable and we still don't understand how the Chinese can be expected to hold our European feet firmly in place. If we were to use the chair regularly, we would definitely skip the footrest.
A big advantage is the wide seat
Compared to chairs like the BlitzWolf BW-GC6, this one from the Nick brand has a much more comfortable and larger seat, thanks to which even larger figures can fit in it without any pillows or backrests obstructing them from the sides.
We rate the firm armrests very positively, because on other models from China we had experience with adjustable armrests that were simply unstable and moved and had freedom when leaning on the elbows. That bothered us a lot.
The chair is well adjustable as regards the inclination of the backrest. Larger figures would probably appreciate the greater adjustable height of the chair, but for a 180-190 cm person, the maximum height will certainly be sufficient.
