Let's start with the stronger version of the pair of electric motors, the model SurRon ULTRA Bee. The latter offers a massive construction with a front fender, which also required a higher weight. It stopped at 85 kilograms (without battery).
The performance is provided by an integrated electric motor with a standard output of 3000 W, but its "peak" reaches up to a value of 12,5 kW! The motor has PMSM (magnetic synchronous motor) technology and will ensure maximum speed up to 90 km / h.
It is also equipped with an "X" type control unit and hydraulic brakes on both wheels. The motorcycle offers a torque of up to 440 Nm and can handle the maximum load of the rider with weight up to 100 kg.
The integrated battery has capacity 74 V / 55 Ah (these are cells of the 18650 type). At full capacity, it will provide a range of up to 140 kilometers (assuming constant driving at a speed of 40 km/h).
SurRon Light Bee: 6 kW and a maximum speed of 75 km/h
SurRon Light Bee represents a lightweight model that is available in four color versions. This electric motorcycle is lighter, it has a curb weight of only 56,6 kg (without battery).
The power of the PMSM electric motor is 3000 W, so the "peak" has only a value 6 kW. The maximum speed is 75 km/h and a torque of 250 Nm. The maximum load capacity of the rider in this case is 100 kilograms.
The lower weight took its toll in lower battery capacity. It has capacity 60 V / 38,5 Ah (also 18650 type cells) and lasts for one charge up to 120 kilometers (assuming constant driving at a speed of 25 km/h).
In both cases, the sales package includes the electric motorcycle from the brand itself SurRon, as well as original accessories directly from the manufacturer. Here you will also find a key for fixing individual parts, a front mudguard, as well as a charging cable, a mains adapter with a local terminal (EU Plug, 220-240 V / 50-60 Hz) or a brief instruction manual and the first setting of the device, traditionally, in English language.
