Chinese brand iQOO brings its new 5G smartphone with the name iQOO Z3 5G. The equipment offers up to 120 Hz display or Snapdragon 768G processor, fast 55W charging and 64 MPx rear camera.
iQOO Z3 5G: New 120 Hz smartphone already on sale in India
New with a label iQOO Z3 5G it has dimensions of 163,95 x 75,30 x 8,5 mm, the weight is subsequently 185,5 grams. The equipment includes a 6,58 ″ IPS LCS display with a drop-shaped cutout and also offers a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a touch sampling frequency of 180 Hz. The screen aspect ratio is 20: 9, Full HD + resolution, supports HDR10 technology, DCI-P3 color gamut and 1500: 1 contrast.
The device on / off button is located on the right edge of the device and has a standard capacitive fingerprint reader integrated. The smartphone also supports face unlocking.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G and 64 MPx camera
As for the chosen processor, it is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G. It is practically an overclocked version of the well-known Snapdragon 765G, which also supports a fast 5G connection. There is also 8 GB of RAM memory and 8 GB of extended (virtual) operating memory. As for storage, 128 / 256 GB of UFS 2.2 type is available. The phone has an integrated and hybrid slot for SIM card / microSD card.
The front "selfie" camera is located in a cutout in the display and has a resolution of 16 MPx. The primary rear camera has a resolution of 64 MPx and supports autofocus technology. This sensor is also complemented by an 8 MPx ultra-wide angle lens with a 120-degree angle of view and a 2 MPx macro camera. There are also modes for night scene, time-lapse shooting and slow motion video shooting. Video can be recorded in up to 4K resolution at 60 fps.
Among other functions, we cannot forget support DualSIM with 5G connection, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS. The smartphone also includes a standard 3,5 mm audio connector or a universal USB type C connector for charging or connecting to a computer. On the software side, Android 11 with FunTouch OS 11 is available.
The smartphone offers an integrated battery with a total capacity of 4400 mAh. It also supports fast 55W cable charging modeled on the iQOO 7 Legend 5D or iQOO 7 5G smartphones. The manufacturer claims that charging from zero to 50% will only take 19 minutes. The equipment also includes a 5-layer liquid-based cooling system, which can effectively reduce the core temperature of the device by up to 10 degrees Celsius.
Price and product availability
New smartphone iQOO Z3 5G will go on sale in India through the iQOO India and Flipkart stores on June 16, 2021. Several configurations and color versions of Ace Black and Cyber Blue will be available.
