The creators of YouTube considered this third-party application to be ethically controversial, given that ad blocking did not allow you to play sponsorship spots, of which youtubers themselves had a percentage.

Vanced's Telegram channel revealed that the decision to end the service was made "for legal reasons". Application vanced will have no more updates.
