TOP price under €90! We ordered XINZUO kitchen knives from AliExpress for testing: They are brutally sharp and we were surprised by their quality
Having proper kitchen knives at home is a necessity for every household, at least for those where cooking is often done. We decided to try the Chinese brand XINZUO from AliExpress and ordered XINZUO kitchen knives in a very nice set with a wooden holder and even metal meat cleavers. Their quality really surprised us!
Almost the lowest prices ever!
You can find XINZUO kitchen knives on the well-known online marketplace AliExpress. The set of seven knives is available in a Chinese warehouse and unfortunately only with slower shipping, delivery should take about 2 months. Some versions of the knives can be found with fast 10/12 day delivery from China.
Just for comparison, the official Czech e-shop Xinzuo sells this set with a beautiful wooden holder and scissors for up to €178. Thanks to our AliExpress offer so you save over €94,25, what is decent money (source: xinzuo.cz)!

Quality knives need quality packaging
If you are afraid to order more expensive knives from the Chinese market, we can assure you that you do not need to be afraid at all. Even when removing the box and protective film, you can see on the boxes that this is a really high-quality product. The knives come carefully wrapped in paper and with plastic caps on the sharp edges. Scissors were also packed separately, as we ordered a large set of 5 knives with a wooden holder.
They fit perfectly into the holder and fit almost every kitchen as a set. Even iron scissors have their place in the holder, with which you can cut up, for example, a whole chicken or duck.
Perfectly sharpened knives and quality handles!
XINZUO knives are made of high-quality German steel 1.4116, which we will write more about below. The blades have an angle of 15 degrees on each side. The knives are also polished. The manufacturer indicates the cutting force level: 6.0-8.0 N, according to international standards.
Every single knife has a carefully attached wooden handle made of Premium Red Sandalwood. They hold very well and cutting with them is literally an experience. For high-quality chopped ingredients, you especially need sharp knives, which XINZUO will take care of without any problems.
Quality German steel 1.4116
4116 steel (also referred to as DIN 1.4116 or 5Cr15MoV) is a fine-grained stainless steel that comes from the German manufacturer Thyssen Krupp.
Its hardness varies between 52 and 56 HRC, with some manufacturers reporting up to 58 HRC as well as XINZUO (56-58 HRC). This steel is very tough and wear-resistant. Although it is not very hard, which affects the ability to maintain sharpness, it is very easy to sharpen. Thanks to the high chromium content (14-15%), it has excellent corrosion resistance.
Originally, this steel was designed for surgical, pharmaceutical and medical instruments, as well as for food purposes (mainly for kitchen utensils, including knives), but today it is also commonly used to make knives for everyday use.

We can only recommend these XINZUO knives with a clear conscience. The set of seven knives is super balanced and you won't be missing any other knife in your household. There is the smallest and shortest 201 mm knife for vegetables, but also the longest 334 mm knife for slicing larger meat, for example.
Quality sharpened steel will ensure a literally experiential slicing experience. The advantage is the use of German steel type 1.4116, thanks to which it will be easier to sharpen later. Another advantage is certainly the beautiful appearance.
