Design and dimensions
All models from today's comparison fit into the 21st century with their modern design. Xiaomi tablets are slightly thicker (6,9 mm), Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 is only 5,8 mm thick. At the same time, it is more than 5 grams lighter from the 30G Xiaomi model.
Tablets from both manufacturers are made of durable aluminum, which gives the devices the necessary premium. Both tablets do not have a fingerprint sensor, but Xiaoxin Pad has added a secure 3D unlock with a face.
Display
At this point, there is a relatively fundamental difference between these tablets. Those from Xiaomi have 11 ″ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate 120 Hz, Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 offers 11,5 ″ 90 Hz OLED display.
In this case, it depends on the personal preferences of the user. The tablet from Lenovo offers more beautiful and vivid colors, while the one from Xiaomi is a bit more smooth. So the visual experience will be at a high level one way or another, as far as audio is concerned, Xiaomi wins there. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro tablets have up to 8 speakers, Lenovo tablets four less.
Power and battery
In terms of performance, all tablets are more or less the same. Under their hood we find a powerful processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, while the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G model also has support for mobile networks.
All three tablets offer a battery with exactly the same capacity, and therefore 8600 mAh. The final endurance per charge will depend on several factors, including the optimization of the superstructure, but in favor of Lenovo tablet also plays OLED technology, which can save battery, especially in the dark mode.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro and Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G have up to 67 W ultra-fast charging, while the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 "only" 20 W fast charging. Tablets from Xiaomi run on the MIUI tablet superstructure, Lenovo tablets on the ZUI superstructure.
Cameras
Now, we come to the part where we talk about the middle ground. We will start with the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro model, which has a main one 13 MPx sensor a 5 MPx depth sensor. The version with 5G has the main 50 MPx sensor and identical again 5 MPx depth sensor. Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 has 13 MPx main sensor and 5 MPx wide angle lens.
As for the configuration of the front cameras, all three tablets have an 8 MPx selfie camera, but the one from Lenovo also adds a 3D ToF sensor for safe unlocking of shapes. Xiaomi tablets can record video in up to 4K at 30 FPS, the model from Lenovo can handle a maximum of Full HD 30 FPS.
Price
The prices of these devices are almost identical. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G starts in the amount 330 € / $ 387, Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 starts with the price 320 € / $ 366. These prices apply to the Chinese market, as the equipment has not yet been introduced on the global market.
Deciding between these tablets is definitely not easy. The good news, however, is that all the models are tablets with an excellent price-performance ratio, so you will definitely not make a mistake with any of them.
