When it comes to "stupa" style wireless headphones, we can't talk about such good noise reduction. Large headphones have the advantage of a massive construction over the entire ear, no Tronsmart Apollo Bold they dealt with this handicap brilliantly.
They 6 microphones which take care of hybrid noise reduction and you don't really hear almost anything after putting the earplugs on your ear. Just turn on quality music and it's a perfect experience.
In addition, they offer handy touch control, with which you can even turn off noise reduction to ambient mode, switch songs or stop them. The signal is being sent to both headphones (stereo plus mode), which ensures a more stable connection and also include Qualcomm aptX standard.
The just-beginning review will introduce you, not the most popular Tronsmart Apollo Bold model, which would deserve more attention from the technological world.

There is a rich packaging
The headphones were proportional to their size in a large package in purple with magnetic closure. Inside was a charging box with the Tronsmart headphones themselves, a pair of spare rubber bands of different sizes and a USB-C cable.
As part of other accessories inside, you will also find a carrying case, a complete manual, a warranty card or instructions for quick use.
Regarding spare rubber bands, we personally sat down the smallest ones, which are mounted directly on the pegs. The medium and large size did not suit us because they fell out of our ears.
Tronsmart Apollo Bold are more powerful stems
We come to the design of wireless headphones. Let's start with what catches the eye first - the charging box. It has exact dimensions 29.45 x 19.03 mm and a weight with headphones of approx 54 grams.
The headphone charging compartment is equipped magnetic connectors and the box has one more in front LED diode, which shows the battery status.
Compared to popular low-cost wireless headphones, such as the Haylou GT1, this is a slightly larger device and not so terrible at all.
The wireless sockets themselves have dimensions 16.86 x 23.13 x 23.96 mm and weight 7 grams each. Here, the difference in size can already be seen, especially due to the larger converter and noise reduction, which is understandable with regard to these functions.
In terms of design, we have to praise the manufacturer, they are in black with a gold coating on the edges and the manufacturer's logo on the touchpad, which is large enough to never miss it. However, in some cases this is not entirely the happiest (eg when correcting).
Comfortable to wear
Tronsmart Apollo Bold is worn on the ears very comfortable and their greater weight and dimensions are not palpable at all. If you wanted to be with them, though to lie then it may not be twice as pleasant and comfortable.
In this respect, all the pegs are uncomfortable, except for special models such as Amazfit Zen Buds or extremely expensive Bose Sleepbuds II.
The road to almost perfect sound
How did Tronsmart make such a great device out of relatively small headphones? In the first place is mainly to blame hybrid noise reduction. It uses the so-called "Feedforward" reduction, which takes care of reducing noise in a narrow frequency range.
Then it's the "Feedback" reduction, where the noise is processed by microphones and then reduced over a wider frequency range. The combination of these two reductions gives us together one perfect, hybrid reduction.
It works perfectly and the Tronsmart Apollo Bold headphones will help you immerse yourself in your productive world. However, the noise reduction function can be turned off and accessed ambient mode, where in turn the microphones pick up noise from the surroundings and play it directly in the headphones so that you can hear everything around you if necessary.
There is also the standard of less delay and better sound quality, which is supported by many smartphones, Qualcomm aptX. Wireless standard Bluetooth 5.0 it is thus supported for the best performance.
How do we rate the sound?
Of course, our evaluation of the Tronsmart Apollo Bold audio page must not be missing. We have been in every aspect of headphones extremely satisfied. They have a great bass but also treble range and a lover of modern music will also enjoy themselves.
The unpretentious user may not notice the difference, but with noise reduction turned on, it is a quality music experience that everyone will notice.
Touch control
We must not forget the touch control, which works really well. There is a large enough area on the top of the headphones for the controls to be comfortable and easy to use. By the way, the manual completely illustrates what you can do with it.
One click on the right button will add a sound, on the left you will remove. Double-click to stop or start music, triple-click to switch between modes (noise reduction on, ambient mode, noise reduction off).
Headphones also include proximity sensor and thus, if they are composed of ears, they will automatically stop playing, and vice versa, if they are put back on the ears, the music will start playing.
Quality hardware
In order not to bypass the sound unit itself, we must mention that it is hidden quite large inside 10 mm converter with impedance 32 Ω and frequency range 20 - 20K Hz.
However, in order for the sound unit, noise reduction, Bluetooth and its profiles to work together perfectly, it also contains high-quality Qualcomm QCC5124 chip. In addition to aptX, it also supports AAC and SBC. Detailed specifications can be found at this link.
The mentioned Qualcomm chip makes sure that all components work well. However, we occasionally had a pairing issue with Windows 10.
In less than two months of use, we had a 3-5 times pairing error, when only one handset was connected and the other could not be connected in any way. Also, the headphones switched to hands-free mode a few times during pairing, and Windows 10 could not turn them on to a full-fledged headset, and the sound was of terrible quality.
For the Android system, resp. However, we did not have such problems at all when playing via a smartphone, so in this respect it may be a bug in Windows 10 and the Bluetooth chip.
Battery and endurance
The battery in the charging box received 500 mAh and in the pegs themselves after 85 mAh. This is already a larger number compared to cheaper models. The box is charged via the USB-C port in about 2,5 hours and the headphones in 2,5 hours.
The manufacturer states the endurance of the headphones with noise reduction switched on and with 50% volume up to 7 hours. With noise reduction off and also 50% volume, up to 10 hours and with the charging box the total endurance is over 30 hours.

Tronsmart Apollo Bold
Final evaluation: They will definitely pay off
When we compare the price of Tronsmart Apollo Bold with premium wireless sockets from other brands (eg almost € 200 Huawei FreeBuds Pro), they offer a lot at their own cost.
High-quality hybrid noise reduction, Qualcomm equipment with chip and aptX standard, excellent coverage of bass and treble or well-functioning touch controls make them a clearly successful model. The icing on the cake is a reasonable amount for everything they offer.
