Rich and high-quality packaging
Stick vacuum cleaner with mop JIMMY PW11 Pro Max arrived in a box with dimensions of 69 x 39.5 x 29 cm and a total weight of 13.2 kg. The packaging is really very rich and consists of many parts. All of them are stored in the box as an example in shaped cardboard. Each part is also wrapped in foil.
The quality of the packaging is so excellent, which we highly appreciate. The manufacturer also refers to the JIMMY PW11 Pro Max as 5 in 1, since in addition to the classic nozzle for vacuuming carpets and floors, we also find a mop with two brushes, an electric attachment for mattresses or couches, a brush for upholstery and a narrow crevice attachment.
But that's not all. The package also includes a pair of stands. One is for the mopping part and the other for the nozzle with the vacuuming rod and individual attachments. As a bonus, we also find a cleaning agent for the mop and a cleaning rubber brush.
Quality of workmanship and design
We remember the classic purple color of JIMMY vacuum cleaners, which gave them a rather cheap impression. Currently, the manufacturer is gradually eliminating these distinctive color versions and the latest models are in standard elegant colors such as gray, silver or black.
It is not different in this case either. The JIMMY PW11 Pro Max is made mostly of shiny gray plastic and looks very good at first glance. The vacuum cleaner is relatively compact, narrow, but this also has its disadvantages, which we will talk about later.
As for the quality of the plastics, mine is quite good, but some attachments do not fit together perfectly and we lack a kind of "click" to know that the attachment is correctly inserted.
If we look at the control buttons, they are on the handle. Specifically, it is a button for turning on / off, switching between modes and spraying with water. We also have two more buttons under the handle on the body of the vacuum cleaner, which are used to turn on cleaning and drying.
Accessories for vacuuming and modes
JIMMY PW11 Pro Max is essentially a multifunctional stick vacuum cleaner, 5 in 1. Let's first look at the vacuum cleaner, which has a suction power of 110 AW with a motor power of 460 W.
The basic accessory is a floor nozzle, which in this case contains one rotating brush. It combines classic bristles with a silicone spiral. It is therefore suitable for hard floors as well as carpets. It has large rubberized wheels and even LED lighting in the front, thanks to which we can better see dust and other dirt.
The advantage of the floor nozzle is its flexibility and the possibility of bending up to 180°. With it, we can comfortably get under the bed, higher couch or under the table and chairs.
Another electrified attachment is a turbo brush for mattresses and sofas. It's sort of a smaller version of a floor nozzle that also includes a rotating brush.
The set of accessories is completed by passive attachments, namely a narrow slit attachment and an attachment with a brush for upholstery, suitable for example for vacuuming the keyboard.
Vacuuming quality and modes
JIMMY PW11 Pro Max has three performance modes. The first is the automatic mode, in which the vacuum cleaner regulates its performance automatically based on the vacuumed surface. The second mode is for floors and the third, the most powerful, is for vacuuming carpets. We switch between modes simply using the button on the handle.
As for the quality of vacuuming, we have no major reservations. The new model from the JIMMY brand vacuums well and its suction power is sufficient. Similar to other stick vacuum cleaners, the main role is played by a rotating brush that collects dirt and sends it through the stick to the collection container.
The vacuum cleaner is easy to handle, fits nicely in the hand, and thanks to the large wheels on the floor nozzle, its operation is beautifully smooth. The only problem is larger particles such as pebbles, which are not easily vacuumed, but rather the floor nozzle moves them in front of it. However, this is a problem with all such stick vacuum cleaners, as they collect dirt with a rotating brush rather than air suction.
However, it vacuums surprisingly well around the edges of the room or in the corners, which is sometimes a problem for vacuum cleaners.
Battery and charging
In addition to the selected mode, the display of the vacuum cleaner also shows the duration in minutes. There is no percentage or graphic representation of the remaining battery capacity, which, however, replaces the time until discharge.
We have 43 minutes available for vacuuming the floor and 29 minutes for vacuuming carpets. We turned on the automatic mode on the floor, so it displayed the same data as the floor mode, 43 minutes.
As for the real durability, it is even higher when vacuuming tiles or laminate floors than the display shows. In 13 minutes of vacuuming in Floor mode, only 10 minutes have elapsed on the display of the vacuum cleaner.
If the capacity drops to 8 minutes, the vacuum cleaner will reduce power and inform us that we should charge it.
Impractical emptying of the dust container
The disadvantage of the compact design is the relatively small container for dirt, which we had to empty quite often. But to make matters worse, the manufacturer did not think of emptying very well. In order to empty the dirt, we have to remove the container from the vacuum cleaner, pull out its entire interior with the filter from the top and empty the dirt that way.
Thirdly, in addition to the small container and impractical emptying, we encountered another problem. The hair gets wrapped around the internal filter in the container, so it is not enough to empty the container for perfect emptying, but we often had to manually remove hair with dust from the inner unit of the dust container.
Mopping with a pair of mops
A big benefit of the JIMMY PW11 Pro Max stick vacuum cleaner is that the package also includes a mop. It is actually a whole unit with a nozzle, a container for water and dirt. You simply snap the vacuum cleaner unit with the motor into this part and you can mop.
The mop contains a pair of rollers that are covered with fabric and a container for clean water. In the package we even find a cleaning agent that is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:50. There is also a spray function.
On the pole of the mop, we can find a container for dirty water, which is unfortunately quite small, similar to the case with the dust container. On the plus side, if it gets full, the vacuum cleaner will alert us.
During mopping, of course, the vacuum cleaner also collects dirt, which flows together with the water into the aforementioned container. From there, we simply pour them out together with the water, or they will be caught on the filters. The quality of mopping is good, but if you want to remove spilled milk or other liquid with a mop, expect that you have to go over such a place several times. Roborock Dyad Pro, which we tested earlier, was somewhat better in this regard.
A minor problem is that a small amount of water also penetrates the dust container, which is still attached to the vacuum cleaner even during mopping. It hasn't caused us any major problems so far, but it is questionable whether water can reach the engine after prolonged mopping.
Cleaning and drying the mop
At first glance, the base of the vacuum cleaner is somewhat larger, which suggests that it will not be just some kind of holder. A vacuum cleaner with an attached mop can be cleaned and dried in this station.
We start the entire cleaning process by pressing the appropriate button on the body of the vacuum cleaner. At that moment, it starts spraying water through the front nozzle, which flows into the base. The mops are then washed in this water. This process will be repeated several times in a row.
We start drying with another button and it takes a few hours. After three hours, the mop is completely dry. However, we recommend using a waterproof mat under the base of the mop, because a small amount of water can also penetrate the floor.
JIMMY PW11 Pro Max: Final review
JIMMY PW11 Pro Max is a multifunctional vacuum cleaner with a mop. You will be pleased with the good suction power, easy handling with the possibility of folding it completely flat when vacuuming, or good endurance for one charge.
A huge advantage is the separate mopping unit, which is equipped with a pair of mops, a container for clean water with cleaning agent and another container for dirty water. The mops are easily cleaned and dried in the docking station.
The disadvantage is perhaps only a smaller dust container, which is also more difficult to empty and it is not enough to simply pick it up and empty it.
