Packed with accessories
The speaker arrived in a white-green box of standard dimensions, which shows the manufacturer's logo, product name and some technical specifications.
After unpacking, there is a paper box with accessories on top of the box. This includes not only the classic paper manual, but also microUSB cable for charging or 3,5 mm audio cable for cable connection to the device.

Quality construction
Speaker body BlitzWolf BW-WA2 has dimensions at the level 200 x 68 x 76 mm and a weight that stopped at 530 grams. These values literally predetermine the speaker for outdoor use or for carrying it.
The front (with the manufacturer's logo) as well as the back of the speaker are covered with a textile layer, which brings a feeling of premium workmanship. The finish is similar to the popular JBL speakers, where this Chinese manufacturer probably also drew inspiration.
On the upper side there is a rubber surface treatment, which contains several buttons. Among the buttons there is an on / off button, a Bluetooth connectivity button, buttons for music and volume control, a button for the powerbank function, but there is also space for NFC connection.
There is also a drawstring and a trio on this side LEDs, which show the battery charge status. As for the ports, they are available at the bottom of the back, almost to the bottom edge. Below the rubber part there is a port for charging and ports for connectivity.
The underside also contains rubber anti-slip feet, which ensure a stable position on a hard surface.
The left and right sides are home to active membranes that provide the bass components of the music. The pair of main speakers is located on the front facing the users, under the textile finish.
The speaker is made of very high quality, it contains durable ABS plastic materials, but also numerous rubber materials together with a textile surface treatment. At first glance, the speaker looks more expensive than its real selling price, which is definitely good.
Connectivity: Bluetooth, NFC and cable
In terms of connectivity, there is a lack of wireless technology Bluetooth in the version 4.1. It offers a range of about 10 meters. The body of the speaker is also missing microphone, which will be used especially for group telephony.
If you do not want to connect the speaker for a long time, for example via the smartphone settings, it is also available NFC connection. Just attach the smartphone with the active NFC chip to the corresponding symbol on the top and in a few seconds the devices are connected and the speaker is ready for use.
In addition to wireless, there is also 3,5 mm audio connector, the double-sided cable, which is available directly in the package, is ideal for cable connection with another device.
The speaker also contains microUSB connector for charging, but also a full-fledged connector USB type A, through which it is possible to charge another device. However, we will talk more about this in the relevant chapter on functions.
BlitzWolf BW-WA2: Up to 20 W audio power
Audio performance is practically the most important factor when it comes to any Bluetooth speaker. In this case, we have a pair of speakers (power 2 x 10W), which are located on the front towards the listener.
Surprisingly, the producer especially targets young users when it comes to sound quality. They play the main role bass tones, which is also helped by a pair of active membranes in the left and right side edge. According to the manufacturer, sound is also available, which is distributed to the room at full angles 360 °.
Maximum volume is indeed high and also the level of the bass component with respect to the size of the device. However, if we are to have remorse for the sound, the high tones are weaker. However, for genres such as pop, hip-hop and electronic music, this speaker is tailor-made.
If this sound doesn't happen to be enough for you, the TWS function is available. It can combine two identical BlitzWolf BW-WA2 speakers to create powerful ones 40 W stereo. The two speakers can be connected by pressing the corresponding button on the top.
Functions: IP 66 or external battery
However, audio playback is not the only function of this speaker. Yes Bluetooth, NFC or cable connection is very convenient, but this speaker goes even further and brings added value to the user.
The big advantage is the increased resistance to water and dust, which is even certified through certification with a label IP66. This means that the speaker is completely dust-resistant and that strong splashing water is not a problem. However, it is not suitable for submerging.
We in the editorial office were also very grateful for the integrated function external battery. Just connect the appropriate charging cable to the USB type A port and press the appropriate button on the top. At that moment, for example, the speaker starts charging the smartphone, from its own battery. We have repeatedly used this function to occasionally recharge the battery of our smartphone, for example on a trip in nature.
Thanks to the mentioned function, it is a kind of 2 in 1 device, which is very practical for trips. However, to save battery power, an auto power off function is also available. It turns off the speaker after a 10-minute pause, or at the same time after a loss of signal (if you move away from the speaker).
But let's not just praise, the system sounds of turning on, off and connecting the device are really special. In addition, they are very loud and even at lower playback volumes, these sounds are at their own level. This can interfere especially when used in the evening or at night.
Battery life
However, let's move on to assess battery life. The battery is also an important feature of a portable speaker. In this speaker we meet a battery that has a capacity of 4000 mAh.
According to the manufacturer, we can look forward to 4,5 hours of endurance when listening at 100% volume or. 7 hours of endurance when listening at 50% volume. We agree with these values, during testing we recorded endurance at the level of 5 - 6 hours per charge.
The overall endurance of a speaker varies from several factors. These include, in particular, the volume of the music being played, but also the way the device is connected or how often you use the external battery function.
Charging is solved via the microUSB connector. However, it is a very slow charge with a power of only 1A. Charging this battery will take up to 4-5 hours. We recommend that you charge especially at night, when you usually also charge your mobile phone.
