OPPO has finally introduced its Reno8 series for the European market. In addition, they are coming to this market alongside a tablet labeled OPPO Pad Air.
The series is notable for finally representing the first design change since OPPO Reno4 series. They are very similar to their Indian counterparts.
Promising specs
The OPPO Reno8 model contains a processor MediaTek Dimensity 1300 and its more equipped sibling with the designation Pro debuts on the market with a chipset MediaTek Dimension 8100 Max, which is the answer to the competing Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
The displays of both models are made with technology AMOLED and offer up to 120-hertz refresh rate. The basic model has a slightly smaller diagonal (6,4 vs. 6,7-inch).
It doesn't look bad at all with the cameras either. Both devices have the same main camera, which is 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor. The Pro model still has an advantage in the image processor HusbandSilicon X for the in-depth capabilities of artificial intelligence.
It will be the same in both cases 32-megapixel selfie camera with RGBW technology. There is also a charger in the package, with a decent power up to 80 W.
So what is the price?
And now to the prices. The OPPO Reno8 model stands in the configuration 8+256 GB 599,90 euros and its more equipped sibling in the same version will sell for 799,90 EUR. In our opinion, the higher price is justified by the better specifications, especially regarding the processor used.
Interestingly, in the UK these devices cost £420 and £600 respectively. The catch, however, will be that the pound currently has a higher value. The sale on the official European website is not taking place, according to which we conclude that the sale is currently only through mobile operators.
The OPPO Pad Air tablet is also coming to the European market. Contains 10,4-inch display and processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. It will be sold specifically in two versions, namely 4 + 64 GB za 300 EUR a 4 + 128 GB za 350 EUR.
