Mark OnePlus began to be popular mainly due to its upper-middle-class smartphones, which competed with the flagship model at an affordable price. Today it brings flagship devices and even recent models OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro they are already reaching the price of competing flagship models of other brands.
This may be the reason for less interest from users, despite very good technical specifications. While the OnePlus 8 model starts in official distribution at the amount of 699 € / USD, model 8 Pro up to 899 € / USD. This price already includes some flagship models of renowned manufacturers.
OnePlus has already tested success on the market with a medium-sized smartphone or upper middle class, it was e.g. model OnePlus X. Now is the time to introduce his successor, he could become a smartphone with a sign one plus z.
It has only recently escaped as part of the popular GeekBench service, which tests the performance of smartphones, and thanks to that we also know some technical specifications. Although GeekBench does not reveal the name, it reveals the code name of the device, which in this case is OnePlus AC2003.
The record shows that the device under preparation contains a chip Qualcomm Lito, which points to the model Snapdragon 765G. In addition, the device should contain up to 12 GB RAM and system support Android 10. In terms of results, the device scored 612 points in the Single-Core test and 1955 points in the Multi-Core.
MediaTek or Snapdragon?
However, according to previous leaks, the OnePlus Z was supposed to come with a competing processor MediaTek Dimensity 1000. However, the report from the GeekBench workshop says something different. It is also possible to see two smartphones, one of which will be the Z model with a processor from MediaTek.
In this case, new options for the price policy of the device also open up. A more expensive model with a MediaTek flagship processor could come to the market in the amount of around 400-500 € / USD, while the second, lightweight model with a processor Snapdragon 765G (and the leaked codename AC 2003) in the amount of 300-400 € / USD.
However, these possibilities are still in the stage of escape and theory. However, the fact remains that in combination with exemplary software and one of the best optimized graphics extensions on the market, the affordable OnePlus can be a really serious competitor for other Chinese manufacturers.
Don't forget about the processor either Snapdragon 765G, which was one of the first to bring 5G network technology to the middle class of devices. This processor is manufactured by 7 nm architecture and currently we can see it in several smartphones in combination with a graphics chip Adreno 620.
