Today, the popular company OnePlus has officially launched two more smartphones from the young Nord series - OnePlus North N10 5G a OnePlus Nord N100. These are so far the cheapest smartphones from the manufacturer.
We brought you a few articles a long time ago, in which we informed that OnePlus wants to focus on the middle and lower middle class, where these models belong. In this article, we summarize the specifications of both devices and whether they pay off for their price.
OnePlus North N10 5G
As the first smartphone from the new N series, we will introduce the Nord N10 5G model. From a global point of view, this is a phone that ranks more in the middle or upper middle class with its parameters and price.
The novelty in the form of the OnePlus Nord N10 5G is coming to the European and American markets so far with a single color version called Midnight Ice. The dimensions of the smartphone are 163 x 7,47 x 8,95 mm and the weight stopped at 190 grams.
The front of the device belongs 6,49 ″ IPS LCD panel with resolution Full HD + (1080 x 2400 pixels), 20: 9 aspect ratio, pixel density per inch 405 and increased refresh rate 90 Hz. Unfortunately, a beautiful AMOLED experience is not taking place this time.
In terms of performance, we will only find the recently introduced processor here Snapdragon 690, which is the only one in the 6xx series to have a 5G modem. Its performance is only slightly lower than the Snapdragon 765G, so there will be no shortage of enough power.
The processor is seconded to the graphics chipset Adreno 619, 6 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB internal UFS 2.1 storage. A microSD card slot is also located here. Thanks to it, you can add up to 512 GB of extra storage.
One area where the N10 5G doesn't completely dominate is cameras. The main sensor has a resolution 64 MPx, brightness f / 1.8, however, has only by electronic stabilization. Unfortunately, the optical is missing.
Photographic equipment also offers 8 MPx wide-angle lens with maximum brightness f / 1.79 and angle of view 119°, 2 MPx macro lens and 2 MPx depth of field sensor. The front selfie camera has a resolution 16 MPx and luminosity f / 2.05.
Other equipment will pleasantly please the presence NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 5G Wi-Fi, stereo speakers, 3,5 jacks, 4300 mAh batteries with fast 30T Warp Charge charging or Android 10 with its own superstructure OXYGEN.
OnePlus Nord N100
Today's second device - OnePlus Nord N100, is more focused on lower prices, but still stable parameters. But let's say, at such a price, the equipment could have been a bit better. Let's take a look at what this cheapest device manufacturer has to offer.
The dimensions of our smartphone have changed a bit. 164,9 x 75,1 x 8,49 mm combines weight 188 grams and, by name, identical color design. Whether you like design or not is a matter of personal taste for each of us.
This time he will look at us from the front 6,52 ″ IPS LCD resolution display 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20: 9 aspect ratio and a pixel density per inch of 269. The 90 Hz refresh rate will be searched in vain here.
He took his place here as a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 together with the Adreno 410 graphics chip. 4 GB LPDDRx4 RAM a 64 GB the storage, in combination with the processor, is actually a lower middle class.
There are three cameras in total, and only one of them is really usable. The main lens offers resolution 13 MPx, brightness f / 2.2 a electronic stabilization. The other two are typical 2 MPx sensors for macro and depth of field. The front camera has 8 MPx.
Other equipment is practically identical. The differences are found in the battery capacity and the Bluetooth version. Unexpectedly, this weaker sibling has a battery capacity 5000 mAh, which in combination with an economical processor and a tuned system will provide great endurance.
Charging is performed with USB Type-C connector and maximum power is 18 W. Bluetooth can be found here in the version 5.0, namiesto 5.1 for the N10 5G model. The fingerprint sensor on the back can be found on both models.

Both of these smartphones have so far been introduced for the European and American markets. Official prices for our region represent 199 € / $ 235 for model N100 a 349 € / $ 412 for N10 5G. We expect prices at Chinese retailers to be much lower over time.
