Qualcomm today officially revealed the arrival of the flagship processor with the designation Snapdragon 8 Gen2. The company OnePlus also applied for a word, confirming that it will deploy this processor in flagship with the number 11.
Specifically, it is the successor to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, but it also improves the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 model. The introduction took place a little earlier than in past years, so smartphones with it will arrive before the end of the year.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 includes one ARM Cortex-X3-based main core clocked at 3,2 GHz, four powerful cores at 2,8 GHz and three efficient cores at 2,0 GHz. The company claims that the processor is o 35% faster and 40% more energy efficient.
Qualcomm has already revealed the list of manufacturers on board that will use the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. They include companies like ASUS, Honor, Motorola, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Vivo, OPPO, Sony and others.
The OnePlus 11 will get it
It was the Chinese company OnePlus that confirmed through a poster that its upcoming flagship OnePlus 11 will receive the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and among the first.
As for the other parameters of the OnePlus 11 smartphone, it will get it 6,7-inch AMOLED display with a 120-hertz refresh rate and LTPO technology, so the refresh rate of the display will be dynamikeys to change according to the displayed content.
