In recent years, wireless headphones have become our everyday companion. They are very practical, they never get tangled and they are really comfortable in the ears. However, these headphones need to be cleaned regularly to avoid a dirty appearance. The Cardlax mini washing machine was created for this purpose.
Washing machine without water
On the portal Kickstarter a very interesting product appeared. It is a device that should clean your headphones of fine dirt, earwax and even disinfect them.
The product is called Cardlax Earbuds Washer and it is a type of mini washing machine designed specifically for wireless headphones and their cleaning will take approximately 2 minutes.
It consists of two parts: a drum, which removes external dirt by its rotating movements, and a soft brush on the edge of the drum, which cleans the area around the speaker. The drum has a sponge inside, which is used in cosmetics. No more cleaning with bristles, needles or toothpicks that could permanently damage the headphones if handled carelessly.
In order to achieve more thorough cleaning and disinfection of the headphones, this mini washing machine additionally contains a cleaning solution composed of 70% alcohol.
Headphone compatibility represents 99% and it is not even necessary for them to have any certified water resistance, as none is used for cleaning. Without earwax and greasy surface of the headphones, higher sound quality is guaranteed.
Easy to operate
The control is performed by a simple button, which controls the main drum and the secondary cleaning bristle. After holding it for three seconds, the device switches on and presses it again to unscrew the drum. In addition, all parts are after disassembly fully washable.
The power supply is solved classically by a cable into a plug, but it will please the modern one USB-C connector. Energy from the power bank may also be enough to deliver the juice. The manufacturer guarantees the service life of the device up to 6 years.
The Kickstarter campaign is still ongoing 55 days. At the time of writing, this project has already managed to collect more than $ 60 from above 1 contributorswhich made it a successful project.
