In a few days, on May 8, we will witness the launch of the new flagship smartphones Meizu 17 and an improved version of Meizu 17 Pro.
While waiting for the performance, Meizu directly reveals us parameter by parameter. Thanks to that, we already know what the news will bring.
The design did not disappoint
Whether it's the front or back of smartphones, it will definitely be a pleasure to look at both. The whole design of smartphones will be in the spirit of round and elegant edges, which together with the beautiful display look incredibly good.
Beautiful display
The front will become home to the big one 90 Hz 6,5 ″ Full HD + Super AMOLED display.
The Meizu 17 model line is thus the first historically for the manufacturer to have a display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The selfie camera found its place in a small, inconspicuous cutout.

On the back we find four horizontal sensors with an LED flash in the middle. Meizu has revealed that the main sensor will be well known and proven 64 MPx sensor Sony IMX686.
There will also be a wide-angle sensor, telephoto lens and macro sensor.
Flagship performance
In terms of performance, the latest piece from Qualcomm's workshop will not be missing - Snapdragon 865 with support for 5G networks. The fastest LPDDR5 RAM and internal UFS 3.1 storage will also ensure smooth operation.
A novelty will be the brand new OneMind 4.0 AI engine, which optimizes the operation of the smartphone for maximum performance. The information provided also confirms the leaked photos of the smartphone package.
Fast charging
Another interesting area where the Meizu 17 and Meizu 17 Pro roads differ to some extent is the battery.
Both models will have a battery with capacity 4500 mAh, but the differences will be in charging.
The "weaker" piece of the Meizu 17 will be able to charge the battery with a maximum power of 30 W. The entire charging process will take place using Super mCharge technology.
The Model 17 Pro will have an improved one 40 W charging and he will not miss either mCharge wireless charging. The great news is that both models should be delivered with the quick adapter directly in the package.
Other equipment will include Wi-Fi certified for 6th generation, Bluetooth 5.1, or NFC for contactless payments. Thus, it will also be a full-fledged flagship in the area of connection.
All areas of the Meizu 17 and Meizu 17 Pro smartphones are maximally flagship, which of course makes us very happy. However, what does not completely impress the flagship parameter is the price.
The basic Meizu 17 should start with a great price tag of 3999 yuan, which is about 520 € / CZK 14. Considering such equipment, this is a definitely interesting amount.
