It's been a few weeks since Lenovo unveiled the design of their Legion Y700 gaming tablet in a few photos. Now we can see it in real photos alongside the iPad mini.
Leaker published live photos
Leaker Fat Boy on the Chinese social network Weibo published a report that he got into his hands a gaming tablet Legion Y700. He even compared it to a small tablet from Apple's American workshop, the latest iPad mini.
The Lenovo Legion Y700 should have an 8,8-inch display. By comparison, the iPad mini 6th generation has a slightly smaller, 8,3-inch Retina display. This display will have a resolution of 2 x 560 pixels and can also boast a 1-hertz refresh rate and a 600-hertz sampling rate.
It will also have 100% DCI-P3 gamut coverage. The aspect ratio of the displays is different and we can see that the Legion Y700 is higher than the iPad mini. It is also rougher compared to the iPad. The frames at the top and bottom are thicker than those on the sides of the display.
The pictures show that the tablet from Lenovo has two speaker vents. One at the top and one at the bottom of the device. We already know that these speakers were tuned by JBL and support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technologies. We can look forward to proper stereo sound.
At the top we can also see a 3,5 mm audio connector and again at the bottom a modern USB-C port. This placement is not the most unfortunate, as this connector placement can be impractical when connecting the charging cable and headphones. We also believe that Lenovo will bring a good dose of fast charging and solid battery capacity.
Snapdragon 888 is still enough
The tablet was said to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, but in the end it turned out to be a Snapdragon 888. It doesn't matter, because the tablet will still have the power to give away. Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 could be installed on a Lenovo Legion Y900 tablet.
We do not yet know when Lenovo will launch this gaming tablet. It definitely has potential and many mobile players would definitely welcome such a device. Keep an eye on our website so that you don't miss any more information about this upcoming gaming tablet.
