New scooter Kaabo Wolf King GTR it features a sturdy metal alloy construction, has a patterned anti-slip mat and a matte black color finish with gold metal elements. The tires are also relatively thick, they are called hybrid, so they can handle even moderate terrain. They come with a dimension 12" (increase of the contact surface by 15%) and are tubeless, supplemented with disc brakes.
The main advantage of this construction are the integrated shock absorbers, which are now adjustable with the possibility of customization up to 18 levels. The front fork, which is now 2 mm higher, can be adjusted from above, similar to bicycles, the rear shock has a red adjustment wheel. The impossibility of adjusting shock absorbers was one of the biggest complaints of the previous Wolf King GT model, and the new model improves it.
The safety of the scooter is also supplemented by traction control (ESC, electronic stability control), which you will appreciate especially in bad driving conditions.
35 Ah battery and electric motors with a power of 2000 W
The battery is now removable, which is a pleasant surprise. In case of damage or reduced capacity, you can simply exchange it for another piece. However, it will lighten the weight of the scooter even when carrying it, e.g. by stairs.
This is a 72 V / 35 Ah (2520 Wh) battery with a resulting range of 175 km. The waterproofing was also improved, not only for the battery, but also for the controls and the frame.
But back to the performance of this electric scooter. Two electric motors with a nominal power of 2000 W are hidden in the wheels, both on the front and rear axles. At peak, they reach a total of 8000 W. This time, however, it is improved by the so-called "split rim" configuration, which is supplemented by the mentioned tubeless tires. Thanks to this, changing tires is very fast, so that you can handle it even in the field.
Maximum speed 110 km/h TFT display
In terms of controls, the scooter has ditched the two 50A controls like its predecessors. There is now a single central 100 A control element and there is also a new driving mode S – like sport. It will offer you an increase from 100 A to 110 A and a total maximum speed up to 110 km/h.
You can check individual information about the ride on the integrated TFT display, which has slightly improved brightness. It's not missing either LED lighting above the front axle, which you will appreciate during evening and night drives. Also present are turn signals and brake lights with updated placement.
The stand, which was the target of criticism in the past, has also been improved. Its use is smooth and fast, in addition, there is no risk of accidental injury to the ankle during use, compared to its predecessor. The advantage is that it is also integrated alarm and anti-theft mode.
Kaabo in the new model, it also incorporated its own accelerator, which they developed themselves. The latter works more smoothly and adding with the index finger should be even more comfortable. Part of the accelerator lever are buttons for changing driving modes.
Fenders can be a slight drawback. They, like the previous generation, may not sufficiently protect the rider from mud or pebbles. However, the manufacturer promised to revise them in the future.
The massive construction also required an increase in the weight of the entire electric scooter. The predecessor had a weight of 52 kg, the new one has up to 63 kg, which you will definitely feel.
