The range of smartphones from the Chinese giant Huawei P40 is gradually expanding with new devices. Its current members are Huawei P40, P40 Pro, P40 Pro + and P40 Lite.
The latest piece to join these models is the Huawei P40 Lite with support for 5G networks. In today's article, let's take a closer look at its more detailed specifications. This is basically the European version of the Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G smartphone.
A very successful piece
Thanks to its products, Huawei is clearly one of the premium brands, as evidenced by today's phone. As usual with Huawei, the Huawei P40 Lite 5G combines excellent hardware and a very reasonable price.
Parameters of the upper middle class
The front of the Huawei P40 Lite 5G has become home to a large 6,5 ″ IPS LCD panel with Full HD + resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels), HDR 10+ support and a 20: 9 aspect ratio.
As it is a higher-end but still middle-class smartphone, it did not get the increased refresh rate.
The upper right corner of the display panel unobtrusively disturbs the average large space in which there is a selfie sensor with a resolution of 16 MPx.
In terms of performance in the smartphone, we find a powerful processor from the Kirin 820 home workshop with 5G support. For a better idea, we can compare this processor to the well-known Snapdragon 765 5G, which Kirin defeats without the slightest difficulty.
The memory configuration of the device is 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. With these parameters, the Huawei P40 Lite 5G once again confirms its higher position in the middle class.
There is also the option to expand the storage by up to 256 GB using a Nano Memory card, which is also under the patronage of Huawei.
Cameras adequate price
At the back of the device there is a vertical traffic light with four sensors. The main sensor has a resolution of 64 MPx, it is seconded to a wide-angle sensor with a resolution of 8 MPx and got a 2 MPx macro and a 2 MPx depth of field sensor.
Huawei P40 Lite 5G is powered by a battery with not the largest capacity, 4000 mAh, but the situation is dramatically improved by the support of 40 W fast charging, which is welcomed by all ten.
Price and availability
Huawei P40 Lite 5G is a European version of the Chinese Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G, which was already introduced in April. The P40 Lite 5G should go on sale on May 29 for the price 399 €. Pre-orders have already been launched.
