Spoločnosť Huawei is preparing a new generation of its tablet with the label Huawei MatePad 2 Pro. It offers not only ultra-thin frames around the display, but also a powerful Snapdragon 870 processor, resp. HiSilicon Kirin 9000.
It should be introduced tomorrow and will be one of the first devices to come with the HarmonyOS operating system installed.
Huawei MatePad 2 Pro: Snapdragon and Kirin
The novelty from Huawei in the form of the new Huawei MatePad 2 Pro tablet should be officially introduced in China in no time, namely on June 2, 2021. This tablet should offer the long-awaited HarmonyOS operating system and also support for the second-generation M-Pencil stylus.
Its dimensions should be 246 x 159 x 7.2 mm and weigh 460 grams. Night Gray, Fritillaria White, and Green are expected to arrive.
Just before the launch, there is a leak from the well-known source Digital Chat Station, which reveals that the device itself will offer very narrow frames that give the tablet a premium look. However, this is still unconfirmed and unofficial information.
Two versions of the MatePad 2 Pro tablet should be launched. One will offer a Snapdragon 870 processor (10,8 inches) and the other will offer a HiSilicon Kirin 9000 processor (12,6 inches). It should have 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage inside.

The previous generation MatePad Pro included a 10,8 ″ screen, and this is not the case with the new model. The panel type should be an LCD with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a color gamut of DCI-P3, a brightness of 540 nits or a contrast ratio of 1500: 1.
From further information leaks, according to a report from the source ChanganDigitalKing, we can also expect functions for working on multiple screens. The smartphone screen mirroring feature, which can be seen with Huawei laptops running Windows 10, should also appear.
The same report also speaks of the presence of a fast 40 W Huawei SuperCharge cable charger directly in the package. Also, the new generation of the M-Pencil stylus should have updated tips, which this time should even be transparent according to preliminary leaks. The appearance and functions of this electronic pencil should be significantly improved.
The battery could have a capacity of 7250 mAh, promising endurance when playing video for up to 11 hours. There will probably be a 13 MPx sensor on the back and a 5 MPx selfie sensor on the front.
