The latest information confirms previous speculations about the presence Kirin 1000 processor and the date of the performance.
Huawei Mate 40 possible in October
As usual, Huawei introduces the Mate line in the fourth quarter, so the Mate 40 should be no exception. A Chinese expert on smartphone chips on the social network published information that the Huawei Mate 40 is coming already in October.
It also features a new Kirin 1000 processor made stunning 5 nm technology and their supplier should be constant TSMC. The Chinese giant is expected to be able to deliver 8 million units in the last quarter of 2020.
Taiwanese company TSMC concluded an agreement about further deliveries before the restrictions on the part of the US government, so they still have a supplier for the fourth generation Mate series.
More information about Kirin 1000
Apparently, this new processor has the code name "Baltimore". As we already mentioned, it will be supplied by Taiwan's TSMC. It also talks about the Cortex-A78 architecture used. It can be officially introduced already in septembryos.
This processor could also carry another smartphone from Huawei - Huawei P50. This series is mainly focused on the quality of the camera and we can expect further breaking of records on DxOMark.
Special FreeForm lenses
We were also interested in information about the use of special ones FreeForm lenses. These are intended to help improve the quality of widescreen images and to eliminate distortion when creating such images.
"FreeForm optical refractive surfaces are defined by complex mathematical calculations that enable a radical and unique ability to bend light." This is the company's definition of technology DynaOptics.
Thus, we can say that using complex calculations will remove the effect of a kind of fisheye, and even with wide-angle images, the image will be perfectly straight, without distortion and bending.
