Spoločnosť Honor is preparing its next flagship model with the designation Honor 50. We already know the official photos of the upcoming device with a huge camera sensor on the back, which was announced in previous leaks. It also looks suspiciously similar to new flag series Huawei P50.
New flag series: Honor 50
Despite the fact that Honor as a brand only relatively recently changed owners, the partnership with the manufacturer Huawei is obvious also with regard to the design of the upcoming flag series Honor 50. The official ceremony is scheduled for June 16, 2021 in China.
At this press conference, we expect several new devices, including a new flag series, represented by the Honor 50, Honor 50 Pro and Honor 50SE models. Other models such as the Honor X20SE and the Honor Play 20 are in the pipeline.
The photos reveal the Honor 50 and its display equipped with a cutout in the middle of the screen. This is used to position the front camera. The Honor 50 Pro will probably offer up to two front cameras, which will also be located in a space at the top left of the screen.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G and fast charging
In addition, Honor recently officially shared the back of the series Honor 50. The back panel should be available in four colors - black, green, pink and silver. At the same time, the manufacturer also announced the Chinese actor Gong Jun, as the brand's ambassador for the Honor 50 series in China.
Both new models, Honor 50 a Honor 50 Pro, should be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chip. According to the available information, the base model should offer a main 50 MPx camera and 66W fast cable charging and a Pro model followed by a main 100 MPx camera and 100W fast cable charging.
Honor is also expected to announce the Honor 50 Pro +, which will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chip, as well as the Honor 50SE. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether the pair will be introduced at a press conference on 16 June or later.
