We're one of the few to try and test this electric fatbike, so this is a pretty exclusive review. We had the version with two batteries, which has really decent battery life.
Engwe M20: 750 W electric motor and 20″ tires
The Chinese manufacturer with its electric bicycle Engwe M20 chose a unique design with a green aluminum alloy construction (type 6061) and a brown leather seat. Despite the fact that it is a fat bike with thick tires (size is 20 x 4″), is very reminiscent of motorcycles in its processing.
The dimensions of this model stopped at 167 x 114 x 68 cm, and the total weight is 45 kilograms. However, the reward for the higher weight is also a higher load, with load capacity up to 120 kg. The optimal height of the user is approximately 155-210 centimeters.
Inside there is a 750 W electric motor, which will ensure a maximum speed of up to 45 km/h. There is a torque of 55 Nm and several driving modes, e.g. for city driving. There is also a 7-speed gearbox from Shimano, thanks to which you can also handle climbing up to an angle of 10°.
26 Ah battery and disc brakes
The equipment also includes 160 mm disc brakes on the front and rear wheel. The integrated accumulator has a capacity 26 Ah (set of 2 x 13 Ah). And it offers a maximum range of 100 kilometers (electric drive) or up to 140 kilometers (assisted driving mode). Subsequent charging to full capacity with the included charger will take 5-10 hours.
The sales package of this product contains the design of the fat bike itself with a label Engwe M20 (ed. note: some parts may be dismantled), as well as original accessories directly from the manufacturer.
