Small phones aren't dead yet. This is a sentence that we say to each other in the editorial office almost every year, when another manufacturer comes to the market with a phone whose dimensions do not correspond to the majority of the market. Currently, the manufacturer DOOGEE came up with such a smartphone, whose Smini model represents a small, powerful and durable lower-class alternative to the now traditional "shovels".

The "miniature" DOOGEE Smini has a body measuring 133 x 60 x 13,5 mm and weighing 155 g. It is powered by an octa-core processor Mediatek Helio G99 clocked at 2,2 GHz and the Android 13 system. There is 8 GB of DDR4X RAM with possible virtual expansion from the storage by up to another 7 GB and a generous 256 GB of internal storage with support for further expansion with an SD card.
Secondary display, durable body
However, the most important part of this small smartphone is, of course 4,5-inch qHD+ TFT display with a resolution of 480 x 1170 pixels. It definitely won't blow anyone away with its expansion, but at a size under 5 inches, it's a good compromise.
The device also impresses with a rear secondary display that is customizable and shows useful data for adventurers such as temperature, humidity, date, time and battery information. The fingerprint sensor is located in side button of the smartphone.
The main camera has a resolution of 50 Mpx, followed by a 2 Mpx macro with support for HDR or night mode. The front sensor has a resolution of 8 megapixels. DOOGEE Smini is also one of the more durable smartphones and has certification IP68/IP69K for water and dust resistance and also the military standard MIL-STD-810H.
The battery of the smartphone is generous for its size 3000 mAh capacity and 18W fast charging via USB-C. The advantages also include two slots for SIM cards, or a combination SIM and TF cards, but today's disadvantage remains the absence of 5G, which replaces the older 4G with the support of Slovak bands.

It doesn't matter how big the display is, but what is the overall size of the phone, if they make a 4,5" display, it's fine, but if it has big edges and the overall size of the phone will be like 5,5", then it's a useless brick.
