I don't recommend it, I've had Carlinkit 5.0 since December and even after changing the settings (recommended by the manufacturer), the phone (Samsung s10e) randomly disconnects by itself. I regret that I did not have time to return it within the 14-day period.
It disconnects for me too, especially when the phone signal drops. I don't understand why when the connection is via wifi, it's sometimes annoying.
That's right, it disconnects, often crashes, displays messages that it needs to be disconnected and reconnected. I have a Xiaomi 13, not recommended for me.

I have a Kia Sportage 2018, Xiaomi Mi11 lite, Carlinkit 5.0 2air. Sometimes it randomly disconnects, sometimes either Waze or Spotify freezes. But every time I have an incoming call, the box disconnects and the call is received directly via bluetooth, a direct connection between the phone and the car, after the end of the call it takes about 10-15 seconds before the connection is restored via Carlinkit
It works for me even though it went off once or twice. I disconnected the cable and it worked fine. I've had it for about 2 month. So far I'm satisfied. I'll see when I go on vacation to BG if it's still connected or if it's going to drop out
Why buy it when it works without these boxes.
The problem is that Android Auto connects like Apple Car Play. The sound of the speaker for calls keeps popping up. I have version 4. It is definitely worth more to get a better brand like motorola for a wireless android car.

You need to change the channel for wifi connection in the settings. I liked it too. Completely stable since then. You have to use the AutoKitools setup application that they offer for download on the home page. Then you can also update it.
