Moeshouse radiator valves turn a classic radiator into a smart home. The valves themselves connect to the gateway, with which they communicate wirelessly using the ZigBee 3.0 protocol. Moeshouse valves have a very simple and elegant design. In addition, they are very compact due to the dimensions only 90 x 52 x 38 mm. As we mentioned above, you also need a gateway to connect them.
Gate and intelligent valve functions
The gateway you need to connect the valves serves as a central communication point to which not only the valves but also other smart home devices that this gateway supports are connected. You will need an application to use them Smart Life or Tuyawhich you download from the Google Play store.
The valves are powered by 2 AA batteries and can operate at -10 to 60 ° C. They have a clear LED displaywhich displays the temperature and basic information and you can also control them using the touch buttons on the valves. In the package you will even find several different adapters for connection to the radiator - RA, RAVL and RAV.
You can adjust the room temperature within 5 - 35 ° C and there is also the possibility of weekly programming 5 + 2, 6 + 1 or 7 days and six time intervals. Of course, there is also support for voice control using Amazon Alex or Google Assistant.
An interesting feature is that it can detect an open window in a room. If the room temperature drops suddenly, the valve closes automatically for 15 minutes.

I definitely do not recommend. Bad processing. They are falling apart. The battery cover falls off, the head itself falls off. Problems with batteries, if you use rechargeable batteries, they will quickly report a drop in voltage and thus discharge. The valve itself works very strangely. Even if the temperature is lower, it will not open, and on the contrary, it will not close sometimes when the temperature is higher.
